Xtras & Hinterland History: Celbridge & Straffan.

Ardclough is located on the Kildare side of the diocesan boundary between the dioceses of Dublin & Glendalough and Kildare & Leighlin. It is also close to the county boundary between Dublin and Kildare, and the corresponding boundaries of Garda district, health board region and tourism region.

It is surrounded by, and interacts with, the historic towns of Celbridge, Kill, Newcastle, Sallins and Straffan.
