Public Meeting on Tackling Burglaries & Crime, 8pm Monday 24 March

Theft and crime has risen to become one of the biggest issues facing Ardclough at the moment.

This has recently been alleviated through the successful introduction of the text alert scheme. To build on this momentum, and to help further secure our homes and property, ACC Public Relations Officer Shane Griffin has organised a Public Meeting with local Gardai at 8pm this Monday, 24 March, upstairs at the Kildrought Lounge in Celbridge.

At the meeting, the local Garda Sergeant, Inspector and Crime Prevention Officer will outline measures that we can take as residents, estates and as a community to protect our homes and property. Local service providers will also give an example of what they can offer to make our homes more secure.

Finally, residents will have the opportunity to relate their experiences to the Gardai, and to give their input on how we can work together to tackle burglaries and crime.
